Where it all started
Flinstone Transport & Logistiek was founded in 1988 by the current owner. Main activity was shunting trailers in the harbor of Ghent and related to the Volvo plants. Bit by bit the activities were expanded from the existing branch in Heusden and the harbor of Ghent through TCC, the truckwash company from Flinstone.
From here it was more easy to react on ad-hoc requests.
Flinstone today
In June 2018, the former DSV building was bought by Flinstone, including warehouse facilities and yard. Flinstone has a spacious office, 5000 sqm. storage including 9 docks and a 2000 sqm. roof for sideways (un)loadings of complete trailers and part-loads handling.
The 40 trucks are all equipped with the most recent IT systems for a quick follow-up and communication towards our customers.
